10 WAYS TO USE GRAPEFRUIT
Get it moving! Mix 15 drops of Grapefruit essential oil with Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply gently to swollen legs and ankles in an upward motion towards the heart.
Diffuse during transitions! Grapefruit is a fabulous oil to diffuse when you are moving into a new home, letting go of limiting beliefs, starting a new job or cleaning out closets.
Hangover Remedy. Maybe you had a little too much to drink. Drink lots of water and add 3 drops of Grapefruit and 2 drops of Peppermint and recover.
PMS Support. If you are feeling tired or apathetic try using 4 drops of Grapefruit, 3 drops of Geranium, and 2 drops of Bergamot. Blend together and apply to the bottoms of the feet and back of neck.
Lymphatic Massage. Blend together 5 drops of Grapefruit with 4 drops of Geranium in 1 oz of coconut oil and massage into muscles after working out to disperse lactic acid.
Activate Creativity! Blend together 4 drops Grapefruit, 3 drops Lemongrass, and 2 drops Frankincense and rub between palms and inhale/exhale for 2 mins.
Sip! Sip! Add a drop or two to spice up your water to help flush out toxins or even enhance a gin and tonic with a little extra zing!
Support for Body Acceptance and Intuitive Eating. Add 1-2 drops to your water through out the day and affirm, “I trust my body’s needs and give it what it wants to feel full, satisfied and full of energy.” Or “I let go of all judgements towards my body, and choose to believe I am lovable in this body today.”
Winter Therapy! Diffuse morning, noon and night with other oils like Basil, Peppermint, and Bergamot.
White Blood Cell Helper. Apply 5 drops Grapefruit, 4 drops Lemon, 3 drops Lemongrass, & 3 drops Breathe to the bottoms of the feet before sleep.
